Originally written for Doc Severinsen and Manny Laureano with the Minnesota Orchestra, this version has been adapted for band. Commissioned and premiered by the St. Olaf Band in 2000, this 17 minute piece for symphonic band spans 3 movements and has the classic early 2000's Paulus sound. The piece starts with "Quiet Beginnings", then continues softly with "Reflections", then ends with a bang on "Driving Forces".
