Concerto for Two Trumpets and Band

Originally written for Doc Severinsen and Manny Laureano with the Minnesota Orchestra, this version has been adapted for band. It was such a success that the recording was nominated for Best Contemporary Classical Composition in 2015. It's full of energy and pizzazz and highly recommended. 23 minutes

This excerpt is taken from Paulus' highly acclaimed mega work for the Minnesota Orchestra, titled "To Be Certain of the Dawn". This version for band was arranged by Jay Juchniewicz in 2019.

Over One Hundred Years

Commissioned and premiered by the St. Olaf Band in 2000, this 17 minute piece for symphonic band spans 3 movements and has the classic early 2000's Paulus sound. The piece starts with "Quiet Beginnings", then continues softly with "Reflections", then ends with a bang on "Driving Forces".
